Haydn Op. 33 Recorded!

In June and July of 2008, Cuarteto Casals recorded the six quartets Op. 33 of Franz Joseph Haydn, known alternately as the 'Scherzi' or the 'Russian' quartets. For the first time, the quartet recorded using its new copies of authentic Classical period bows, after an extensive search for a more appropriate means of articulation and shading.
