Cuarteto Casals Performs at the Royal Palace in Madrid

The quartet performed on the palace's priceless set of matched Stradivarius instruments, the only such quartet that Stradivarius made specifically to be played together. After a state dinner, the guests to which included Mr. and Mrs. Sarkozy, King Juan Carlos III, Queen Sofia, Prince Felipe, Princess Leticia and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Cuarteto Casals performed the third Arriaga Quartet in E-flat Major.
