New recording of Haydn Op.33 Quartets now available!
Harmonia Mundi has just released the new recording of Cuarteto Casals performing the six quartets Opus 33 of Franz Joseph Haydn. Known as 'Gli Scherzi' or the 'Russian' Quartets, they are landmark pieces in the history of the string quartet, and for Cuarteto Casals, mark the first recording made with historically appropriate 'Classical' bows.
